Does it count characters with or without spaces?
Both. The counter shows characters including spaces and a separate count excluding spaces, so you can match whichever limit a platform uses.

X/Twitter (280), single SMS (160), SEO meta title (60), meta description (160), Instagram caption (2,200), Facebook post, LinkedIn headline (220) and YouTube title (100).
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. All counting runs locally in your browser with JavaScript — nothing is sent to a server.
